Background
Jamie Hanson is a former Chief Counsel for the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and a former judicial clerk at the Arizona Court of Appeals. He is a Certified Administrative Law Specialist, one of just two Arizona lawyers who met the stringent requirements for certification when the State Bar of Arizona introduced that area of specialty in 2021.

Notable
Jamie Hanson began his legal career in 2011, serving a one-year appointment as a judicial clerk to Judge Peter B. Swann of the Arizona Court of Appeals.
He joined Lang & Klain in 2012 and gained extensive experience in construction litigation and in representing contractors and subcontractors in licensing and complaint matters before the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC). In 2015 he left our firm to accept a position at the ROC as its Chief Counsel, returning to Lang & Klain in 2017.
Jamie frequently serves as a consulting resource for other construction attorneys in ROC licensing and disciplinary matters.
Before entering law school, Jamie taught Latin at Veritas Preparatory Academy in Phoenix.
